Hi students!!
See you for a class on Saturday at 11h. We are doing some activities and practising vocabulary with a password (Pasapalabra).

Next week we will have class on Tuesday 5th May at 18.30 and on Saturday again at 11h. Same days than this week.

Apart from these classes, there will be speaking practice the following days: Monday 4th May from 17h. and Thursday 7th May from 19h. Diariamente serán dos sesiones , y os distribuiré de dos en dos o de tres en tres. Para estas clases de speaking mandadme email y os confirmo hora y día. La otra vez fueron cuatro días. Si necesitamos más os doy fecha más adelante.

Little by little if you are busy. Don't get overwhelmed (agobiados) trying to do everything I suggest. It's just my obligation to send you homework and keep contact. Do as much as you can.
Poco a poco los que estéis liados. No os agobiéis intentado hacer todo si no podéis. Yo os voy mandando de todo porque es mi obligación. Vosotros lo que podáis.

Desde Inspección nos llega otro comunicado, contrario al que anteriormente nos enviaron. Os copio la información de la que disponemos a fecha de hoy:

FINALIZACIÓN DE LAS CLASES: Las clases continúan a distancia para todos los idiomas y niveles hasta nuevas instrucciones.

NIVELES 1: Debido a la situación en la que nos encontramos la Comisión Pedagógica de la EOI El Fuero de Logroño ha determinado que la evaluación que se aplicará en los niveles A1, B1.1, B2.1 y C1.1 será la evaluación contínua que se ha venido aplicando al alumnado hasta el 10 de marzo de manera presencial y a partir del 11 de marzo a distancia.

EXÁMENES DE PROMOCIÓN Y CERTIFICACIÓN: Se informará sobre los exámenes de Promoción y Certificación en el momento que se disponga de las nuevas instrucciones de Educación

Osease, lo que nos importa es que parece que continuaremos online más allá del 18 de mayo. Hasta que nos digan. Parecía que íbamos a empezar con certificación, pero ahora parece que no. Antes dieron vuestra finalización de clases el 18 mayo, y ahora no. Continuaremos my dear students!!

A BIT MORE OF HOMEWORK

Here I suggest some activities for you to do:

• Listen to this song HERE and complete the text below. Abajo tenéis la letra para completar mientras se escucha. "Don't worry, be happy".
•  If you don't remember how to tell the time , HERE is a video explaining it.
• Write a brief composition of about 80 words under the title: "My best moment in this confinement".

Any doubt, just let me know. 

If you want to practise more listening, remember this video I posted in the past. 

The video has small listenings with one question each. You listen to each of them twice. The second time is with subtitles and help.

If you didn't do it, it's recommended you do it.

Hi my dear students,
We are having a new class on Saturday morning at 11h.
As you see, I keep changing the class timetables. Some of you work all day, and are really busy, so Saturday will give some of you the possibility of attending.
You can come to the English class, and later, go running, jajajaja.

Along the morning I will add here some homework for you to do today.

Reflexión: con esta experiencia me queda claro q la verdadera docencia está en el aula. A distancia todo se desvirtúa y la comunicación falla. Ayer solo podía ver la cara de tres de vosotros. Vuestra cara y la comunicación no verbal me suele dar mucho feedback, pero bueno, el ordenador nos vale para mantenernos comunicados, algo es algo. Sus ventajas tiene.En mis clases de B2 también echo de menos el aula, pero en estas de A1 mucho más.

MONDAY!!

Good morning students!!
Monday again! Time passes so quickly for me. It's incredible!! I have been at home so many days. Sometimes I think it is all a dream. One day I will wake up and go to school as usual, jajaja.
Now my children can go for a walk. It is a bit strange, dangerous??, but I think they need it.

KAHOOT COMPETITIONS BETWEEN CLASSMATES

HI DEAR STUDENTS!!

Do you remember our Kahoots in class? It is a good and funny way for you to practise. If you want to play, do this:

Entras en la aplicación. Abajo les das a "search" y buscas sobre algo que te interese, por ejemplo, present simple or genitive saxon. Eliges un Kahoot  metes tu Nickname (apodo) y le das a "Study" (NO a play), dale a "practice" y ya te deja jugar solo.

Aquí en la imagen tenéis algunos que podéis buscar. Al buscar poned nivel básico a lo que sea que queréis practicar (present simple, past simple, basic English vocabulary, prepositions...). Correis el riesgo de meteros en kahoots dificiles, pero bueno, trastear también es bueno.

HI STUDENTS

Ayer y hoy he estado haciendo sesiones diferentes de Zoom para ir practicando un poco el oral. Como no había hueco para todos los q me dijisteis, voy a hacer tb sesiones el sábado a las 11 de la mañana y el lunes por la tarde a las 18.30 h.
Tengo poco hueco, una plaza el sábado a las 11, y el lunes a 18.30 podría meter dos. Por si alguien quiere decirme por email y le apunto.

GOOD MORNING

Hi! Today and tomorrow speaking practice for those who told me. Some didn't find a suitable time for them.

That's why I have decided to do another session for those who couldn't do it with the timetable on Thursday and Friday. It will be on Saturday at 16h.

Traduzco. Algunos no os habéis podido apuntar, por cuestión de horario a la práctica oral. Así q he abierto otra sesión el sábado a las cuatro. El q quiera q me mande email. Hoy y mañana vais de dos en dos en dos o de tres e en tres, y empezaré una nueva sesión de zoom con cada grupito. Invitación al email, no aquí, para los q os habéis apuntado. Hoy o mañana ya están llenas las dos horas.

El próximo martes a las siete de la tarde haré una sesión de cuarenta minutos. Será clase, no practica oral. No creo q de nada nuevo. Actividades haremos.
La hora del martes podría cambiar. Si la salida de una hora diaria de niños tiene horario según edades, podría modificarla. Muero por pasear una hora.
